Our client, a prestigious International Marine Manufacturing Company now has an OUTSTANDING opportunity for a qualified SERVICE TECHNICIAN (MARINE) on a full time & permanent basis. Based in the Greater Dandenong area and reporting to the Workshop Manager, your duties will include:-
• Diagnosing and analysing service problems
• The workflow of conversions, reworks and engine repairs
• Ensuring company boats are properly maintained and serviced
• Providing guidance to Apprentices or Trainees
• Handling technical product enquiries
• Providing service support to customers, dealers and company personnel
• Assisting with the set-up of service schools, training of dealer technicians or company personnel
To be successful, you will need:
• Trade qualified as a Marine Technician, Diesel Technician or Automotive Technician
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar environment i.e. dealership experience
• Current Driver’s Licence and Boat licence (preferred)
• A mechanical aptitude and passion for Marine Engines
• Exceptional communication and training skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
