About the Role

We are currently seeking an energetic and committed individual to join our team in Aspley as a live-in caretaker manager.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a vibrant community environment.  You will also manage resident queries, basic office work, and answer emergency call outs.

Duties & Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Managing resident queries
• Adhere to all legislative requirements in collaboration with Gateway’s legal and compliance team
• Manage the compliance of health, safety and environmental obligations and requirements in conjunction with our HSE Manager
• General upkeep of the grounds
• General maintenance & operation of equipment, including minor repairs
• Cleaning of facilities
• Meter readings
• Rubbish removal
• Emergency after hours call outs

Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role
• Experience using a property management system
• Sound computer skills
• An ability to understand financial reporting and interpret outputs
• Customer focussed
• Ability to work independently in a trustworthy manner
• Have an ability to deal with residents in a crisis situation
• Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Neat and tidy presentation
• Valid driver’s license
