Architectural Metalworks Australia - the Parent company for Aluminium Balustrades (North Coast) - is looking for experienced fabricators and installers based on commercial construction sites in and around Sunshine Coast & Brisbane.
We are a privately owned company, with over 37 years of history, with the head office on the Sunshine Coast. We place great emphasis on developing our outstanding team of people.
We are now looking for additional team members, energetic, outgoing and committed to join our team. The positions are for immediate start, (38 to 45 hours a week, Mon-Sat) position and requires mature efficient and confident personalities.
Typical duties include cutting, drilling, assembling, glazing and general installation working primarily with Aluminium, and a small amount of Stainless Steel and Mild Steel.
We are looking for a candidate with experience behind them, however, training is also available.
Ideally, our candidate will have knowledge and practice of the principles in Lean Manufacturing, however, it's not essential.
At first the role is only offered as Casual, however, there may be opportunities to continue onto full time after 6 months.

Ideally, you would have a strong background in working at heights and EWP work.
For Installers, we will require:
1- Working at Height & EWP
2- 5 years experience in installation on construction sites
3- Work with minimal supervision
4- Good time management and team skills
5- References/Resume
For Fabricators we will require:
1- All qualifications and tickets
2- 5 years experience in welding aluminium
3- Work with minimal supervision
4- Good time management and team skills
5- References/Resume
