Proud Australian company with over 37 years in business, 1800 Hose Van specialises in hydraulic installations and replacement hydraulic and industrial hoses on new and used equipment through our mobile onsite service.
Due to expansion 1800 Hose Van Revesby, requires a motivated, enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join the team as a Trainee Hydraulic Technician.
The Role:
As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be expected to deliver high quality field service, supply fluid transfer solutions and build relationships with our customers. The position will include installation of hydraulic circuitry and repair work with major earth moving customers in Revesby as well as service work throughout New South Wales.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the current 1800 Hose Van team with all hydraulic installations and repair work
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team in a professional manner with a responsible attitude
- Assist with providing estimates, options and improvements to clients to generate ongoing business
Requirements:
- An interest trade experience in the fitting or mechanical industries
- An understanding of hydraulic installations, hose and fitting applications and onsite repair work
- Ability to prioritise and problem solve to meet customer requirements
- An understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
- Must have a current manual driver’s licence
- Ability to liaise confidently with customers
- Be able to keep your workplace clean and tidy and diligent time keeping
