Blue Collar People currently require an experienced 1st Class Sheet Metal Tradesperson for an ongoing role in Osborne Park, working for a company who manufacture and distribute rainwater tanks, down-pipes, gutters and flushing to a wide range of clients in the building industry. Duties include all aspects of colorbond and zincalume steel and specialised materials such as ultra, stainless steel, copper and aluminium.
Duties associated with the role may include, but are not limited to:
- Must be able to fabricate the following: sumps, rain-heads, upstands, ventridge, louvres and curved barges
- Manufacture downpipes and flashings, as required – working on benders, presses and the guillotine
- Helping truck drivers and customers load material
- Driving the forklift to move steel coils, palettes and materials
- Working closely with all members in the factory to ensure a high level of production quality and service is upheld
To be considered for this role you will require the following:
- 1st Class Sheet Metal Trade Qualification or equivalent
- Welding mask
- Own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Good work ethic and attitude
- Physically fit
- High regard for safety
Any additional tickets or qualifications would also be an advantage but not essential.
This role is available for an immediate start, working a minimum of 38 hours per week at $35.00 per hour, $42.00 per hour time and half and $56.00 per hour double time.
Hours of work will be Monday – Thursday 6:45am – 3:15pm and Friday 6:45am – 12:45pm. There will also be potential overtime available and the possibility of going fulltime.
