Trojan Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a number of reputable construction based companies who are currently experiencing major growth with projects across Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas.
We are currently seeking experienced Construction Labourers that have experience on building or civil construction sites. We are looking for reliable people for casual work on both long and short term projects.
The successful candidate MUST have previous experience working on a construction site, have the ability to perform heavy and physical work and a good work attitude.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Labouring tasks include digging / trenching, demolition and moving materials, assisting on site in general
- Performing tasks involving physical labour at building, heavy construction and demolition sites
- Operation of hand and power tools of all types and a variety of other equipment and instruments
- Clean and prepare sites
- Assist Tradesmen on site
You will also have the following experience and qualifications:
- Current WHS Construction Induction / Whitecard
- 1+ years building or civil construction experience
- Experience operating power tools, assisting tradesman etc
- Forklift (LF), Hoist ticket (HP or HM), Traffic Controller ticket, Scaffolding ticket, concrete finishing, steel fixing experience is highly regarded
- Rigging (RB, RI or RA), Dogging (DG) or Elevated Work Platform tickets (WP) are highly regarded
- Current Drivers licence and own reliable transport
- Flexible and easy going attitude
- Ability to work as part of team, with direction and autonomously
- Be able to provide two recent work references
