We are looking for an Office Manager/Scheduler to oversee our field service technicians and office administration.

Ideally this role would suit someone wishing to either move out of field service operations, a former field technician or a spare parts employee looking for a step up.

It does not matter how long you were in the field for, rather what matters is that you understand what a service technician does.

About us;

Air Conditioning Doctor provides service and repairs across Adelaide to most types of heating and cooling products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic new team member to assist us to keep providing awesome service to our clients.

About the role;

Reporting directly to the business owner you will schedule work for our field technicians and manage our daily office administration and workshop operations.

Having 3 x field service vehicles at your disposal your daily tasks will include filtering our clients heating and cooling enquiries with the aim to schedule work for our field technicians for the type of work we wish to perform.

Manage and respond to our clients needs, expectations, compliments and the occasional dispute resolution.

Support our field service technicians production levels, assist them with technical enquiries and generally make their day easier with some forward thinking and planning.

Obtain information from trade supplier sources to prepare quotes and estimates to forward to our clients.

Ordering and tracking of spare parts, managing a small workshop materials inventory, re-ordering of vehicle stock, plant, equipment and asset servicing records.

General housekeeping duties.

Basic bookkeeping and data entry. Training will be provided if required.

Requirements;

It is important that you have a friendly and efficient phone manner and can display excellent communication and organisational skills to both our technicians and clients.

You will have the ability to handle multiple tasks as well as be able to deal with different personalities and can keep your cool when under strong pressure when the peak seasons arrive.

Have a basic knowledge of windows based PC systems and email client.

You will be the sort of person who can think ahead, be proactive, can predict the needs of our technicians, step forward and take care of the smaller details that are sometimes overlooked.
