We are continuing to grow our roads division and have a fantastic opportunity for an ITS Electrician to join the LTJV - who is responsible for maintaining all ITS assets in the Sydney Metro East for the RMS. This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Electrician to gain valuable experience in such a growing field.
As an ITS Electrician, you will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) across a diverse range of assets in the Metro East area such as Traffic Signals, Variable Message Signs and Traffic Counters.
With a high level of attention to detail you will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting activities, ensuring all asset data is captured in your Mobile Field Computer (MFC). As a proactive self-starter, you will carry out all activities in a safe and efficient manner ensuring the safety of yourself, pedestrians and motorists in a challenging environment.
To be successful in your application, you will possess the following skills/qualifications;
- Qualified Electrician, current NSW Electrical License.
- IT/Computer proficiency.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within the ITS or Communications Field (preferred)
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to work shifts over a 24-hour rotating roster and be available on an on-call basis to respond to urgent system issues.
