Sonoma Baking Company is seeking Pastry Chefs to join the soon to open Sonoma Bakery in Canberra!
The opportunities on offer are either Full Time or Casual status, with the desired candidates requiring the below:
Use your passion for pastry and your desire to share, learn and grow with some of the best people in the industry while you work at our purpose-built state of the art baking facility located in Braddon. Reporting to the Head of Pastry, you will work across all steps of production and baking in a fasted paced and focused environment.
YOU:
- Experience in all aspects of pasty making including weighing, mixing, laminating, finishing cakes
- Retail Baking III qualification or at least 2 years’ industry experience required
- Ability to work at a faster than normal pace without compromise on quality or consistency
- Ability to work unsupervised or in a team
- Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating roster which includes weekends, early mornings, afternoon and evening shifts.
- Good time management
- Strong communication skills
- Be solution focused
- Full working rights in Australia.
