This leading food manufacturer based in the Northern Suburb's of Melbourne currently requires a highly skilled and proactive electrician and maintenance fitter to join their team.
Working a night shift you will be required to set up, maintain and repair all aspects of their production plant including liquid filling lines. Part of the role will include some operational work.
To be successful you will need to have experience in the food industry and have a sound understanding of HACCP or GMP. It is also essential that you have solid skills in fault finding, problem solving and preventative maintenance.
Electrician: experience in the following areas will be highly regarded
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems;
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers;
- Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices;
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools;
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment;
- Experience working within the beverage or dairy industry;
- Experience with hydrolics and robotics;
- Hands on and able to help the maintenance team;
- Understand pneumatic directional control valves
