The opportunity: Project Supervisor/Manager
Apex is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Project Supervisor/Manager to join our dynamic team based in Port Melbourne. With experience in supervising or running electrical commercial construction jobs, we are looking for someone who wants to take the next step in their career. The Project Supervisor/Manager will be involved in all aspects of the projects and will work closely with and be supported by our team.
Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing contract variations
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Managing labour
- Document control
- Sourcing and ordering materials
- Problem solving
- Liaising with clients, employees, subcontractors and engineers
Skills and experience
- 3- 5 years local experience in the electrical construction space
- Electrical trade background with electrical license and experience ‘on tools’
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Solid technical knowledge of the construction process
- An understanding of electrical construction project programming and scheduling
- Attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft office and other computer-based software/applications
- Effective communicator
- Efficient, organised and independent
