The Position:

Based at our Kingsgrove operations site, you will be an integral part of our operations team responsible for the creation and assembly of solid-timber frames, windows and doors.  As all of our products are custom made, you will need to be able to quickly interpret plans and drawings to define how best to create the desired product.  Working with a range of timbers,

Your Responsibilities  and duties will include,

• Experienced in Cabinet Making/Joinery
• Excellent attention to detail
• Maintaining a safe work environment.
• Interpreting shop-drawings to determine materials, manufacture time and assembly methods.
• Reviewing production requirements to define the daily work schedule.
• Cutting, machining, assembling and finishing using a range of machinery and joinery techniques.
• Installation of door and window hardware and fixings
• Continuous improvement of work practices to improve safety, efficiency & quality.

Who are you?

As a team of craftsmen, we're looking for someone who is on top of their game and can bring experience and improve their area of expertise, enhancing the Nicco operations objectives of safety, quality and efficiency.  You must be experienced working with Solid-Timber and be a Trade-Qualified Joiner or Cabinet Maker (or perhaps a carpenter with significant experience with timber windows and doors) gained over at least 5 years working with solid timber.  Highly customer focused, you will be an excellent communicator who takes pride in quality of work.
