Trojan Recruitment Group is looking for a qualified Manufacturing Maintenance Fitter to work for a South Australian company based in Glynde, SA.
Our client has been in business for over 150 years and spanning over four generations. The role will be working autonomously on afternoon shift (approx 3pm to 11pm).
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hard working Maintenance Fitter who has worked previously in manufacturing or production environments within the food industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:-
- General welding
- Grinding and sheet metal work
- Testing and fault finding
- Troubleshooting
- Look at improving machine efficiency by identifying improvements on line
Successful candidates must possess the following::-
- Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner
- Production manufacturing & Food industry experience
- Forklift licence
- Confined Space licence
- Boiler operator licence
- Ability to follow strict OH&S/ food hygiene procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Drivers’ Licence and have reliable transport
