In our Melbourne, Wood division, we now require an experienced Sales Representative/Area Manager or Business Development Manager on a full time permanent basis.

As a valuable member of Biesse Group team, your duties will include:

  • Promote and sell Biesse products & services within designated areas
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet & research potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Plan selling approaches and pitches
  • Work with internal team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Participate & negotiate in pricing the solution/service
  • Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
  • Manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company e.g. sales administrators quoting process.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, tradeshows and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends and prospect for new business opportunities
  • Maintain and update company CRM

This is a key Business Development and Account Management Role. We are looking for someone from ideally from the wood industry with similar experience in the above duties.

You must possess the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving and decision making ability
  • Self motivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability and hungry to sell
  • Ideal experience as a Hardware or Machine Sales Rep, Software Rep with industry experience or similar
  • Trade experience from kitchen or joinery
  • Capital equipment selling experience desirable
