IPA represents a leading Recycling Manufacturing Plant based in Laverton North. Due to sustainable growth within the business, opportunities have become available for A Grade Electricians to join the Maintenance team on a permanent basis.

Our client is hiring additional staff to their already established team therefore their existing roster is currently under review. However typically the shifts will consist of Monday to Friday, 40hr week with an expectation to work either Saturday or Sunday on a rotating basis to perform shutdown work outside of production hours. All work performed after 38hrs is paid at Double Time.

The role is responsible for the maintenance, servicing and modification of plant and equipment in accordance with SOP’s, statutory requirements and as requested by Site Manager or company Engineers.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Q Fever Vaccinated (or willing to undergo a vaccination)
• Experience in Preventative Maintenance, modifications and repairs
• Trouble shooting, fault finding and reporting
• Supervise Contractors onsite
• Working with SOP’s
• Attending breakdowns as a matter of urgency
• Manufacturing experience highly regarded

To be considered for this role we are looking for the following skills and attributes:

• A Grade Electrician
• Be available to work a 6 day week
• Previous trouble shooting and problem solving experience
• Basic capabilities on Instrumentation, Allen Bradley PLC’s & Drives and SCADA, desirable
• Post Trade Qualifications in Basic Electronics
• Current “C” Driver Licence
• 2 years’ experience working as part of a maintenance team in heavy industrial environment
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines
