Due to steady growth, we have an opportunity available for an experienced service and account manager to lead our Support Team in Perth on a permanent full time basis. Our national team of specialist Control System Support Technicians deliver great outcomes to our clients and provide peace of mind with 24/7 rapid response support for critical industrial automation and control technology.

You will be forward thinking with a focus on achieving business deliverables while balancing the needs of our current and future clients. This hands-on role requires a motivated individual with strong communication skills who can provide a consistent management approach to engage their team to deliver high quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and develop a team of Control System Support Technicians
  • Undertake marketing and business development functions to generate new business
  • Manage key accounts
  • Plan, organise and assign work within the team
  • Manage budgets and expenditure
  • Plan and deliver small projects

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Electrical engineering or electrical trades experience within the automation industry
  • Team management experience
  • Business development or customer relationship experience with proven ability in achieving business development targets 
  • Ability to plan and proactively work towards achieving own targets, meeting agreed deliverables and deadlines while working under pressure
  • Experience in writing quotations and proposals
  • Ability to apply safety and quality standards to electrical systems
  • Ability to review complex technical specifications and drawings
  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment

Key Requirements

  • Engineering degree in an appropriate field, or a current electrical licence
  • Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (Frontline Management) is desirable
  • Australian drivers licence
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
