Carinity Aged Care – Clifford House is a beautifully appointed residential aged care facility, which is conveniently located in an inner northern suburb of Brisbane, in a quiet cul-de-sac with all services readily available. Clifford accommodates beds for high, low and dementia specific care and ageing, and provides quality care to each and every resident.
Carinity Aged Care – Clifford House has a vacancy for a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join their team on a part time basis working up to 68 hours perf fortnight with the ability to work between Monday through to Friday. You will play an important role on the site working with the Maintenance Supervisor in a tight knit team, maintaining the aged care buildings and grounds, as well our Independent Living Units. A working knowledge of, and respect for Workplace Health and Safety Standards is a must!
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated proficiency in general maintenance tasks including servicing and cleaning
- Experience in carpentry, building or electronics fields in an advantage
- Genuine compassion for and interest in assisting the elderly
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, planning, prioritising, and problem-solving work
- Initiative in maintaining service delivery, and continuous quality improvement
