Australian Country Choice (ACC) is a proudly Australian owned and family operated industry leader, producing and supplying highest quality beef products to the Coles Group and export markets through our fully integrated vertical supply chain.
We have opportunities for trade qualified Electrical Fitters to join our Maintenance team, to provide support to all areas of our Further Processing facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, these roles are full time, and will operate on a rotating day/afternoon shift.
As well as being fully licenced industrial Electricians with mechanical aptitude, the successful candidates will ideally have experience working within a FMCG Manufacturing environment, and also possess the following:
- Current CPR/LVR
- Familiarity of LEAN Manufacturing and 5S principles
- Experience with programming and fault finding PLC’s with a focus on Allen Bradley
- Solid fault-finding skills with AC and DC VSD’s
- Experience trouble shooting pneumatic motion control systems
- Experience working within a CMMS controlled maintenance department
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques
- Your own hand tools
- Knowledge of LOTO, risk assessments, JSA’s, PPE, and other OH&S requirements
- Be a highly motivated self-starter
- Commitment to working safely
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of manufacturing and maintenance best practice
- Food industry experience is desirable, but not essential
