The Company:
A new opportunity has become available within a highly respected market leader within the Consumer Electronics industry that is looking to expand their team within their Whitegoods sector. The company has been at the forefront of innovation and is well-known across the Australian market for their excellent products and solutions.
The role:
As the Field Technician, your main responsibilities will consist of supporting the Queensland area in residential queries, ensure the work site is safe and report on the completion of the contract to the National Manager or Supervisor. The broader responsibilities are as follows:
- Provide consultancy and service across the residential market
- Report on quality and safety ensuring they meet the Australian standard
- Assist with Technical Support during peak period and when necessary
- Managing job scheduling and ensuring that the customer has qualified for a visit
- Manage and maintain sufficient spare parts stock levels within your appointed vehicle at all times
Skill set required:
- A minimum of 3 years experience within the electrical sector (ideally whitegoods but not necessary)
- Strong experience in residential support
- Proven customer service skills including professionalism, defusing conflict and providing consultative feedback
- Results driven and customer focused
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
