Our client, a national tier 2 head contractor cover maintenance and upgrades on Melbourne, City West and Yarra Valley water pipelines. They have seen substantial growth and are looking to double in size throughout 2018 due to the award of a 10 year watermains contract .
This position will be initially through Labour hire, but as an ongoing casual. After an initial trial period you will then be offered a fulltime position and given the opportunity to obtain your plant tickets (excavator, HR licenceetc).
The Role:
- Replacement of watermains - CIPP lining
- Maintenance on existing Sewer lines
- Junction cutting
- Manhole raising
- Restoration works
- Pipe Jacking
Requirements
- 3+ years experience within Civil Labouring
- Experience within utilities highly regarded
- Confined spaces ticket
- Excavator ticket highly regarded
- MR/HR licence a bonus
