Chuan Spa, Melbourne is currently looking for enthusiastic & motivated colleagues to join our team in the following positions on Fixed Term contracts with the possibility of extension post January 2019.
- Spa Therapist
- Massage Therapist
- Beauty Therapist
You will have the opportunity to work with the Chuan Spa team which consists of approximately 35 colleagues. These positions are an integral part of a high performing hotel team, and a key contributor to the hotel's ongoing success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional and 5 star quality service with a focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine (and a particular focus on remedial massage for the Massage Therapist position)
- Perform in depth initial consultations and follow up advice for all clients
- Carry out all spa treatments in line with our quality assurance standards
- Maintain a proficient knowledge of Spa services and products, understanding all applications and benefits. Particular attention to be paid to knowledge of the Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies
- Build a strong repeat clientele
For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:
- A Diploma of Beauty Therapy (Spa Therapist)
- A Certificate IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage (Massage Therapist)
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury hotel or similar environment
- Qualification in Pregnancy massage is advantageous
- A genuine interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine
- A passion and commitment to helping clients achieve optimum health and wellbeing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to learn
- Immaculate presentation and grooming
- Ability to work a rotating roster, inclusive of weekends and public holidays
