• Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm with O/T on offer

Currently seeking an experienced electrician to work for a well established company that specialises in the manufacturing of air conditioners based in Bella Vista. This position is offered as casual for the first 6 months as a probationary period with the pay being $45.00p/hr. After that 6 month period you will have the opportunity to become permanent with a salary of 85K - 95K. If you are doing a good job and have settled in be for the 6 months is up you may be taken over earlier. The shift times for this position are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday with O/T possible.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

•Electrical Trade Qualifications (Mandatory)

•Electrician Licence to perform Electrical work in Australia. (Mandatory)

•Diploma of Electrical Engineering or similar Tertiary or post trade Electrical Engineering qualifications would be highly regarded.

•HVAC Experience

•Strong knowledge of AS3000 Wiring Rules, electrical and appliance safety standards and machine risk and safety assessments.

•PLC programming & analysis capabilities.

•Strong fault finding & problem solving skills.

•Experience with Electrical & Controls testing & documentation report writing.

•PC skills including MS Office, TurboCAD or similar drafting programs.

•Ability to interpret, create & modify Electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, work instructions & control logic drawings.

•Excellent communication skills

Key Areas of Responsibility:

•Ensure all Electrical / Electronic Components installed in products are safe & fully compliant with all relevant Standards & Regulations.

•Assist the Electrical Engineering Team in the design & implementation of the electrical components, wiring, schematics & wiring diagrams within all products.

•Provide design input & integration of our Control electronic products & other 3rd Party Control Systems into our products to ensure safe, reliable & optimum service & performance.

•Provide Electrical Engineering Service & Support to the Production & Service Depts to ensure quality, safety & efficiency is maintained in the Manufacture, Testing & Servicing of all products.

•Provide Electrical Engineering Service & Support to the R&D Dept to ensure new electrical projects meet the requirements for quality, innovation, safety & reliability.

•Support for Sales and Marketing Dept for various Display and Test Equipment, Kits and Marketing Display stands etc. This includes the design, construction and service of this equipment to suit each particular requirement.

•Provide Supervision to any Electrical Contractor or Service Personnel working on Electrical or Manufacturing projects or equipment testing or repairs.
