Griffith University’s Campus Life team is responsible for the planning, construction and on-going operation of the university’s built environment and grounds. The Campus Life landscaping team is currently seeking an experienced Gardener to join the team.

The opportunity
The Gardener will work as part of the Landscaping team to maintain and landscape the grounds of the University. In this role you will contribute to bushland maintenance and assist with the completion of landscaping projects.

This is a continuing, full time position based at Gold Coast campus.

About you
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a gardener, good knowledge of Australian native flora and possess skills in hard landscaping, irrigation and the use of power tools and agricultural sprays. To compliment your experience you will possess a Certificate in Horticulture, a Chainsaw licence and Level 1 Bush Fire Fighters Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Salary range
HEW Level 3: $52,550 - $58,255 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $61,484 - $68,159 per annum.
