We are seeking a self motivated and lateral thinking technician to come and join our rapidly growing business. Here at the Music Bus we have 27+ vehicles across the east coast of Australia with the majority based in Sydney.
The position involves looking after the electrical and equipment repairs of our fleet of vehicles which are set up as mobile music teaching labs.
A typical day would involve visiting our fleet vehicles across Sydney to repair audio electrical and musical equipment issues as well as co-ordinating vehicle servicing, repairs, cleaning and maintenance. Some flights and travel will be involved from time to time across Australia to visit out vehicles in other states. Occasional outside of hours or weekend work may also be required.
You will be provided with a company vehicle and tools.
The successful applicant should have:

Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in automotive and general electrical systems - particularly dual battery/solar vehicle setups.

Experience and a thorough understanding of troubleshooting and servicing professional audio and electronics.

Proficient with hand and power tools for basic fabrication tasks.

Experience in musical instrument setups and service is an advantage but certainly not essential.

New South Wales Drivers License essential.

Ability to drive manual vehicles.
