J.K.Williams Contracting, a highly respected civil construction company situated in Western Sydney, is seeking an experienced plant / heavy vehicle mechanic
The successful applicant will assist with the ongoing maintenance and repairs to the Company's extensive fleet of earthmoving plant / heavy vehicles and will need to possess the following;
- Proven and diverse plant and/or heavy vehicle experience at trade level
- Effective planning and organisation skills
- A willingness to work afternoon / night shifts
- Ability to apply deductive reasoning when problem solving
- Sound communication skills
- Ability to work co-operatively in a small team
- An WHS Industry Induction Card
The successful candidate must hold a Certificate of Proficiency as a Plant / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
Whilst not considered critical, being a registered and licensed motor mechanic, possessing competent welding skills and a forklift licence would all be highly regarded qualifications.
