Coxons Group are seeking a radiator fitter / mechanic to join the team in our Rockhampton workshop.   

Coxons Group specialise in the maintenance and supply of mining, transport, industrial and automotive cooling components. Coxons Group are the largest radiator repair specialist on Australia’s east coast with workshops in Rockhampton (head office), Newcastle and Townsville employing over 35 staff across all locations.

Coxons Group also offer automotive and truck servicing, repairs and air conditioning servicing.

Role Summary
This position will report to the workshop foreman and have diverse responsibilities ranging from automotive servicing and repairs to overhauling nosecones, radiators, aftercoolers and oil coolers.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Mechanical services and repairs
- Remove and refit radiators and service cooling systems
- Strip, service and reassemble cooling components ranging from mining to automotive.
- General workshop duties such as washing, buffing, sandblasting, pressure testing and welding.
- Service and regas air conditioning systems

Applicant Requirements
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in a timely manner
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Good communication skills 
- Air conditioning licence an advantage
- Forklift licence an advantage
