EHS Manager

Onshore wind farm projects across Australia.
ADV Global is a global engineering, management and development consultancy organization.
We have offices in South Africa and Mauritius, and now opening in Australia.

Responsibilities: (Electrical / Mechanical)

• Implementing site HSE regulations, ensuring safe practice on site.
• Ensuring that projects and sites comply with the current conditions, rules and legislation’s regarding environment and working environment.
• Communicating to all relevant stakeholders & subcontractors on site.
• Being part of the sites setup for construction projects to ensure compliance with client requirements and deliverables.
• Exhibit positive, courteous behaviour with customers, businesses, and co-workers.
• Use all mandatory safety equipment and comply with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines.
• Complete all required training.
• Work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Some travel may be necessary to support other job sites.

Qualifications: (Electrical/Mechanical)

• 5 years’ experience with in HSE Coordination and Management, with in the Onshore/Offshore Wind industry.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility of tasks.
• Good knowledge of legislative requirements and experience with change management.
• Experience in an Industrial Electrical environment preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Flexibility in working hours.
• Positive attitude and approach to day to day duties.
• Demonstrated initiative to increase efficiency in operations.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Fluent in English.
• Driver’s licence required.
• A strong commitment to ensure safety and safe working environments.

Salary: Between AUD 35,00 – AUD 55,00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
