EHS Manager
Onshore wind farm projects across Australia.
ADV Global is a global engineering, management and development consultancy organization.
We have offices in South Africa and Mauritius, and now opening in Australia.
Responsibilities: (Electrical / Mechanical)
- Implementing site HSE regulations, ensuring safe practice on site.
- Ensuring that projects and sites comply with the current conditions, rules and legislation’s regarding environment and working environment.
- Communicating to all relevant stakeholders & subcontractors on site.
- Being part of the sites setup for construction projects to ensure compliance with client requirements and deliverables.
- Exhibit positive, courteous behaviour with customers, businesses, and co-workers.
- Use all mandatory safety equipment and comply with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines.
- Complete all required training.
- Work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
- Some travel may be necessary to support other job sites.
- 5 years’ experience with in HSE Coordination and Management, with in the Onshore/Offshore Wind industry.
- Have good communication skills and the ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility of tasks.
- Good knowledge of legislative requirements and experience with change management.
- Experience in an Industrial Electrical environment preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Flexibility in working hours.
- Positive attitude and approach to day to day duties.
- Demonstrated initiative to increase efficiency in operations.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Fluent in English.
- Driver’s licence required.
- A strong commitment to ensure safety and safe working environments.
