Working with major clients around Melbourne, A Grade Maintenance is located in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and work with a number of Government clients as well as big brands ensuring safety, quality & cost controls are maintained in their business.
Our trade professional consists of General Maintenance, Carpenters, Plumbers and Electricians. With our pool of accredited and experienced personnel, we are committed to ensure that the work needed to be done for any business is of the highest of quality and service.
About the Role
A highly motivated qualified Plumber to join our team in a Full Time position.
We are based in the Western suburbs servicing all of metropolitan Melbourne and country Victoria. You will be part of our service crew which work with on several sites and with national contracts.
Reporting to the Manager, you must be able to:
- Attend to Service Calls and on call jobs
- Install and maintain water supply systems
- Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. fixing leakages)
- Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, pipes, faucets etc.
- Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators etc.)
- Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
- Cutting, assembling and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
- Provide timely, effective and professional customer service in accordance with the Company standards to stakeholders
- Respond to and action jobs designated to you
- Keep stakeholders informed of the service progress to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained
- Provide support to Managers and Director/s as required
Selection Criteria
Prerequisites for the position would be:
- 3+ years as a Plumber
- Qualified Plumber
- Great Communication Skills
- Highly Motivated
- Well Presented
- Strong Customer Focus
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- High Standards of Workmanship
- Able to work in a team or solo environment
- Able to successfully pass a National Police Records Check
