Australian Rail Track Corporation is a major national organisation responsible for managing infrastructure maintenance, capital upgrades and the movement of trains on interstate railway track across South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, as well as the Hunter Valley coal rail network. 

ARTC recognises that a talented and diverse workforce is fundamental to building a commercially strong and customer-focused organisation that will give rail a competitive advantage. As such we are seeking people who enjoy working outdoors across a range of general labouring and maintenance duties. 

We will pay for all of your training and provide you with on the job mentoring for you to succeed. You need to have good written and oral communication skills together with the ability to work in a team environment whilst holding safety as a core value. You will be happy to work outdoors in rain, hail or shine and won't be afraid to get your hands dirty and contribute to our team.

Essential:  

• Current drivers licence
• Computer proficiency  - Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint an advantage

Desirable: 

• Plant and equipment tickets
• HR truck licence
• Previous rail, construction or manufacturing experience 

As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to consent to a National Criminal History Check.

Appointment is subject to ARTC's medical fitness standards relative to the position.  ARTC is a drug and alcohol free working environment.
