THE POSITION

We are seeking Experienced Building Guards who are suitably qualified, self-motivated and professional to work across various locations in Brisbane CBD, QLD. These positions include Full-time, Part-time and Casual opportunities.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor or Operations Manager, these positions will be responsible for a range of duties including general security, access control, asset surveillance, concierge/reception, alarm response and control room operation duties depending on which site the successful applicants are placed.

As a Buliding Guard you must be able to walk for long periods, enjoy a variety of duties and have outstanding personal presentation and customer service skills. The primary functions of the role include, but are not limited to: 

• Providing high quality frontline customer service and support;
• Risk identification and issue resolution;
• General security duties including administration tasks;
• Working within a team environment;
• The ability and confidence to work on your own.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be considered for an opportunity with Wilson Security, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:

• Current QLD Security License and valid First Aid Certificate;
• Proven previous Security Officer Experience (Preferred);
• Availability to work rotating Day and Night shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal);
• Basic computer skills;
• Professional personal presentation;
• Proven experience in conflict resolution;
• Good administration skills;
• Must have Driver’s Licence and own transport;
• Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia;
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
