Workfast are looking for a NRT Electrical Rail Trade Assistants to join their NRT team in Bella Vista NSW. The rate of pay is $31 per hour plus overtime and allowances.The work will involve cable hauling, cable installation, cable pulling and general labouring duties working along side Track Labourers Rail Labourers and Electricians.
About you...
Candidates must have at least 1-2 years experience as trade assistant with experience of using power tools, hold a RIW Card, a White Card, their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), be reliable and hardworking. One of a Working at Heights or EWP tickets is required. This job is a casual position with full-time 50 - 60 hour weeks for the right candidate, ongoing work with nights shifts also available.

- $31 per hour plus Superannuation
- $43.40 time and a half when applicable
- $55.80 double time rate when applicable
- 10 hour days, 5 days a week - 50/60 hours a week
- $18 travel, $15 meal
What you need...
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a trade assistant
- Experience of using power tools including drills etc
- RIW Card
- White Card
- 1 of either Working at Heights or EWP ticket
- PPE
- Reliable and hardworking
What you will be doing...
- Working in with various teams as a Electrical Trade Assistant on the Rail NRT
- Working along side Track Labourers and Rail Labourers
- Any duties assigned by the site manager
- Cable Hauling
- Cable Installation
- Cable Pulling
- Assisting Shunters and Track Machine Operators
- Helping Electricians onsite
