Veolia Energy Technical Services is seeking HVAC Technician for our Katherine team.
Veolia is the sole distributor/OEM for TRANE equipment in Australia and has a new opportunity for a HVAC Technician to provide exceptional support as part of our NT team. You will be responsible for conducting service and preventative maintenance, repairs and installation work on a range of HVAC equipment. We are looking for reliable and efficient individuals who will build lasting and trusting relationships with our team and customers.
Attitude, work ethic and ability to work well within a team environment are important characteristics that we are looking for in a candidate.
About the Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting HVAC service and preventative maintenance on commercial buildings
- HVAC installation works
- Diagnose faults and provide customer solutions
- Perform breakdown repairs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Australian recognised trade certificate in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning
- A current ARC license
- Valid driver's licence
- Restricted electrical licence
- Experience and sound knowledge with a variety of HVAC systems on commercial, retail, government projects.
- A strong customer focus and work ethic and ability to provide a consistently high level of building maintenance across all facets of fixed plant and equipment.
- A solid understanding of a variety of Air Conditioning principles and systems
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
- Reliable, self-motivated and well presented.
Your salary will consist of a base hourly rate + company car + mobile phone + other tools of the trade.
