Outside of the crush, our teams are involved in an intensive repair, maintenance and innovation program to ensure our sugar mills continue to be safe and reliable, and among the most efficient in the world.
Applications are being sought for a* Mill Attendant* **based at Invicta Mill, just south of Townsville.
This position is a shift role during the crushing season, including weekend work, and some overtime may be required.* *
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties; subject to the needs of the business;
- Operation of mobile plant as required
- Attend to the safe and efficient operation of the Milling Trains and ancillary equipment
- The ability to work well with other departments, especially with the Milling Train Console Operators and Platform Attendants is highly desired
- Perform lubrication and cleaning of specific plant along the milling trains
- Manual handling tasks
- Display a consistent commitment to workplace health and safety and housekeeping standards
Selection Criteria will include the following:
- Work safely and look after the safety of others
- Possess excellent communicate skills.
- Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback on work to be completed.
- Adapt to and support ongoing change as well as any further training.
