SNP are currently currently looking for a Full-Time experience Gatehouse Security Officer to work at one of our clients sites in a Distribution Center. This client is a global lead in logisitic providing diverse transport services.
About you
You will have excellent communication skills and solid experience with gatehouse preferably at a production or distribution site. Roles and responsibilities include Access Control, Monitoring OHS and WHS, Inductions, CCTV monitoring, high level of customer service and use of computers (excel).
To be considered in this position, it is essential to meet the following criteria:
- Valid NSW Security Licence (Minimum 1A)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Minimum Cert 2 in Security Operations
- Cert IV in risk management (highly regarded but not essential)
- Experience providing security at a large and busy warehouse or transport logistic environment will be highly regarded
- Experience using an Access Control System will be highly regarded
- Experience screening high volume of persons or objects (high regarded but not essential)
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Intermediate to Advanced Computers skills ( excels spreadsheet)
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
- Experience writing detailed Incident Reports
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team and work without supervisor
- Ability to multi-task and have attention to detail
- High level of work-ethic and eager to learn
- Solid work history with check-able references
