A family owned and proud Australian company, Chesterfield Australia is a John Deere Agricultural machinery dealership with 12 outlets located throughout SE QLD and Northern and Central NSW.

About the Position

We have a full time position available for a Field Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic at our Taree branch.

Duties:

The Field Service Technician / Mechanic is responsible for performing basic & complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and dealer owned John Deere agricultural equipment.

You will travel out to the customer properties and will have the use of a company vehicle for this purpose.

You will work on:
• Compact and large Agricultural Tractors
• Gators
• Sprayers
• Hay Equipment
• Ride-on mowers and power tools

Requirements:
• Diesel trade qualifications / Cert III – Agricultural Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualifications
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Excellent diagnostics skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously in the field
