DNOW Australia Pty Ltd are seeking applicants for a Service Technician to join the team based at Wacol Brisbane, reporting directly to the Manager Flow and Service Solutions.

 Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assembly, repair, maintenance and development of work on equipment used in the mining, oil and gas industry.
• Overhaul, installation and commissioning of industrial pumps.
• Overhaul, installation and commissioning of Reciprocating Multiplex Plunger Pumps.
• Valve repair and test, automation, root cause analysis and onsite services.
• Maintenance and security of work shop equipment in a fit for use condition.
• Control of storage and condition of long term spares for job specified activities.
• Packing and goods handling for transport.
• When requested assist equipment repairs at other locations including Roma, Perth and Customer sites around Australia.

Successful candidate will possess the following:

• Trade qualified or similar with a minimum of five year’s experience, including general overhaul and repair of pumps, gearboxes, mechanical seals, valve and other heavy equipment.
• Process strong fault diagnostic skills.
• Be competent in operating machining equipment.
• Sound knowledge of quality control.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Support Business Development Team.
• Team player.
• Ability to provide detailed reports on equipment overhauls to Customers and Internal Team.
• Be able to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Flexibility to travel when required.

• Hold current drivers and forklift licenses
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
