Location: Emerald, Central Queensland
As a Network Crew Operator (Plumber) you will direct and work along with the crew you are leading to undertake planned and/or responsive activities/repairs on Council's water and wastewater networks.
You will be responsible for job planning, job safety and undertaking risk assessments, traffic management, identifying and reporting failures, causes and remedies, receiving and closing out customer requests on a tablet computer and marking up Council's plans for asset accuracy.
The successful candidate will possess the following requirements;
- QBCC Plumbers and Drainers Licence
- Minimum of a QLD C class drivers licence (Manual)
- General Construction Induction Card
- Significant field experience in a similar or related leadership role
- Sound knowledge of water and wastewater network management, planned and responsive maintenance activities
- Cert III Network operations (desirable)
- Significant experience in a similar or related role (desirable)
- Asbestos, confined space, working at heights, trenching tickets/statement of attainments (desirable)
- HR Licence (desirable)
- Excavator ticket/statement of attainment (desirable)
- Traffic Control Accreditation (desirable)
