About the opportunity
WesTrac is currently seeking an experienced and team orientated Boilermaker to join our Sydney team. As the successful applicant you will be performing duties on various customer projects and will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
WE HAVE MOVED! Our Branch has just relocated to a brand new state of the art facility in Casula.
What we're looking for
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Australian recognised Boilermaker Trade Certificate
- Advanced Metal Fabrication skills in heavy fabrication
- Sheet metal experience
- Familiar with Earthmoving Equipment (desirable)
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Capable of executing your work in compliance with AS1554
- Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
- Ability to work autonomously
You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
