ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity currently exists within Wilson Security for a Site Supervisor to work for our client, a leading Supermarket retailer. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation and performance of site security, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with client requirements. The position of Site Supervisor is the primary point of contact for clients and visitors to the site, and will provide visible leadership and customer service at the front line.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the position will involve:
- Responsibility for overseeing the day to day operations
- Managing shift rosters for a team of 11+ Security Officers
- Providing leadership and operational support to site staff
- Managing quality systems to ensure compliance
- Service delivery quality assurance including auditing and reporting requirements.
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following experience and attributes:
- Possession of a current NSW Security License (compulsory requirement)
- Previous experience in the security industry as a Supervisor
- Knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems (highly regarded)
- Experience in leading medium to large teams to achieve excellence in client relationships
- Ability to mentor and support site staff to achieve required performance levels
- A sound understanding of OHS issues and the ability to manage identified risks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
