WorkPac is currently seeking the services of several experienced Mobile Fire Suppression Technicians.
Duties will include but not limited to maintenance, servicing and installation of mobile suppression (Foam, Powder, Dual agent, ROP and LOP) systems, , fault finding in both the electrical and mechanical configuration, develop and maintain fire equipment register, inspection test reports. You may also be required to maintain and service fire fighting equipment (extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels and blankets) .
The successful candidate will ideally have the following:
- Min 3 years’ experience doing PEFS install and maintenance.
- Possession of (or ability to obtain) either Cert II Asset Maintenance (Fire Protection Equipment) or Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme card, or similar for PEFS
- Obtainment of Unit of Competency: PRMPFES42A Install, inspect, test & maintain PEFS equipment
- Current Drivers’ Licence
- National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
