Our client is a global leader in the integrated automated technology and material handling solutions industries.

They are seeking highly experienced Maintenance Electrician for work on their contract sites in Sydney Metro.

The job is working on their automated conveyor systems performing preventative maintenance, installations and breakdown work on varied sites in the Western Sydney area.

This role would suit someone with an FMCG or Printing industry maintenance background

To be eligible for the role:

• Full unrestricted electrical license
• NSW Drivers License
• Previous experience working as a Service Technician
• Exceptional electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding abilities
• PLC & SCADA experience specifically Siemens S7 experience
• Dual trade qualified as a mechanical & electrical fitter would be highly regarded
• Ability to work an after hours on call roster approx every 6-7 weeks
• Ability to work by yourself as well as in a team and make decisions under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The position includes a work van, laptop and mobile phone.

The successful candidate will need to undertake police check, pre-employment medicals including drug and alcohol. You must be willing to present an updated demerit point check.

This position has a great base salary and the potential to earn 120k-150k if you are willing to do O/T and weekend work.
