TEAM Group (Aust) is a Mackay based company that provides heavy engineering, project management and fabrication services to customers in the mining, minerals processing, port facilities and bulk materials handling industries.

TEAM Group (Aust) have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop Supervisor for an immediate start at our Paget Workshop.  The position is a full-time above award salary position with an average 50 hours per week.

Reporting to the Operations/Workshop Manager you will be providing end to end supervisory support to the workshop and operations. The ideal applicant would have had experience in a workshop environment and duties will include but not limited to:

• Supervising the day to day floor operations of the workshop
• QA documentation
• Weld mapping, material take offs
• Shift and Roster planning
• Identifying & resolving technical issues
• Sourcing and purchasing materials
• Tool Box meetings

To be considered for this role you must have:

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in construction, maintenance, manufacturing and project including planning
• Demonstrated heavy duty steel fabrication experience
• Demonstrated experience with reading, interpreting and working with drawings
• Engineering/Trade Boilermaker Background.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Act Regulations
• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Suite.

• S123 and G2
• Microsoft Project
