Reporting to the Workshop Coordinator, we are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our Welshpool based team.
The Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing and routine maintenance to our fleet - trailers, dollies, forklifts and light vehicles
- Conduct goods receiving and inspection of vehicle parts prior to installation
- Assist in controlling and replenishing the consumables and stocked parts store
- Complete all necessary fleet records as per required standards
- Maintain service records to a high standard
- Manage and adapt work load in accordance with equipment demand
- Keep work area and tools clean and tidy
The Candidate
- Trade qualification specific to the mechanics of vehicles
- Previous experience in truck and trailer repair
- Forklift licence
- Current C class drivers licence
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Read and understand Road Transport Regulations
- High attention to detail
Salary
Remuneration will be based on experience and capability of the successful candidate.
