The Grange Golf Club is well renowned as one of South Australia’s premier sporting venues boasting 2 internationally rated 18 hole championships golf courses and will host the 2019 Women’s Australian Open in February having successfully hosted the event in 2016.  An opportunity currently exists within the club’s course maintenance staff for a Senior Assistant Superintendent.

The Senior Assistant will be required to assist in the management of a large team on a daily basis whilst reporting directly to the Course Superintendent.  The position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be an integral part of the senior management team which consists of a number of key staff.  The role will involve an active role in.

• Tournament preparation and planning
• Budget preparation and planning
• Irrigation design installation and daily operation including wetlands operation and recording
• Planning of short & long-term course management strategies
• Involvement in the club’s machinery and infrastructure management plans
• Active participation and operation of the club’s epar WHS & environmental system

Other favorable attributes for the position include.

• Have or still are operating within a senior position within another golf club
• Exceptional staff training skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous tournament experience will be favorable
