Visy, one of the world's leading privately owned packaging, paper and recycling companies is now seeking a full time Electrician.

Reporting into the Engineering and Services Manager your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Key accountabilities will include:

• Maintain and improve preventative maintenance program.
• Prioritise and effect jobs, in conjunction with the Engineering & Services Manager.
• Hold a current and full trade certificate in the electrical field.
• Respond to general housekeeping requirements.
• Control and stock take spare parts and stocks of electrical products.
• Ensure design of machinery is safe and maintenance to machinery is affected in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure electrical components comply with Australian Standards.
• Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns, with the aim of minimising downtime.
• Understand and ensure work complies with controlled documents, and complete and maintain quality records when required by procedural documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Any responsibility/authority defined in Quality System documents.
• Understand the Environmental policy and adhere to the EMS and Environmental procedures that are relevant to the activities carried out.
• Assist to identify opportunities to improve the environmental performance of the company.
• Ensure compliance to environmental legislation
• Protect the environment through minimisation of any impacts of relevant day-to-day activities.
