Kelly Services is looking for a Diesel Mechanic for ongoing work with view to permanency based in the Wetherill Park area.
Our client is one of the leaders in the waste industry who have been operating for over 50 years. They have some massive contracts going and coming up and need extra hands on deck.
Due to a business expansion, they are looking for a trade qualified diesel mechanic/fitter to join their stable team.
To be eligible for the role:
- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic/Fitter
- Have a good knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Have the ability to work unsupervised and part of a team
- Have a want to be permanent and grow in your career
- Previous experience in the waste industry highly regarded
- Supervision experience will be beneficial
- Have a strong commitment to safe work practices
- Have your own basic tools
- Take pride in your work
- Have a current drivers licence
- Forklift licence would be desirable
Extensive experience in a workshop environment is highly desirable and to succeed in this role you must be able to prove your skills are up to the challenge.
This role commences with full time hours on a casual basis with view to permanency and is to start immediately for the right person.
