A great opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join one of the largest and most respected manufacturing brands. Based in the Parramatta area, our client has been operating for over 100 years.
An opportunity exists for experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a stable maintenance team to provide scheduled maintenance and where required attending breakdowns. There is both day shift and rotating shifts available.
Essential requirements;
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Extensive experience in maintenance of fixed plant
- Knowledge and experience with pumps, conveyors and motors
- Hydraulic & pneumatic experience
- Power transmission experience
- Advanced ability to fault find and troubleshoot
- The day shift roles;
Monday to Friday - 6:30am-2:30pm
- The rotating shift roles;
4 days on, 4 days off
2x 12 hour day shifts, 2x 12 hour night shifts
- Excellent computer skills, particularly word and excel
- A strong commitment to WHS and safe work practises
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Time Management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised and/or part of team
Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable and to succeed in this role you must be able to prove your skills are up to the challenge.

These roles commence with full hours on a casual basis with a view to permanency and is to start immediately for the right person.
An excellent hourly rate is on offer with shift allowances and expected overtime.
