About you and the role:
As part of our four year apprenticeship program, you have an opportunity to create the foundations of a successful career as an Apprentice Mechanic with Hydro Tasmania in our West Coast region. You’ll gain skills in operational functions, maintenance and refurbishment of generational equipment at our power stations.
Successful completion will give you a technical qualification as a mechanic, setting you up for a successful career.
You’ll have an outstanding work ethic and ability to self-motivate; as well as a commitment to achieving our goal of ‘Zero harm’.
You will acquire skills in:
- Team work, communication and collaboration
- Safety and environmental awareness
- Project work, including scope, resources and materials
