About the business and the role
Wattson electrical is an innovative electrical contracting company servicing northern/north-west Tasmania. We have experienced continued growth and have a position available for a full time electrician. We value training and professional development with opportunity for career development. Job tasks and responsibilities
General electrical repairs - appliances and commercial equipment
Fault finding existing installs - commercial and domestic
project works - renovations and new homes
Heat pump experience, automatic doors and lifts (desirable experience)
General electrical upgrades/additions.
Skills and experience
You will need to be self motivated with a positive attitude and an ability to complete jobs independently. You will need a minimum of 5 years commercial and domestic experience in order to complete the variety of tasks that will be assigned. Fault finding experience is desirable, a determination to find solutions to everyday challenges is essential. We cover all aspects of the electrical industry and you will require a broad range of skills to succeed in this role, we are willing to assist in skill development with ongoing training.
