Agricultural / Diesel Mechanic / Field Service

Glenmac Sales and Service is the local retailer for John Deere products in Pakenham, Knox and Lilydale areas. We specialize in the sales, service, spare parts and finance of all John Deere products ranging from agricultural and compact tractors, to ride on mowers, and golf / turf equipment.

We also offer sales, service and spare parts for the high quality range of Stihl products from our Lilydale store.

Due to continued growth we are seeking to employ an additional qualified Groundscare / Agricultural Diesel Mechanic at our Knoxfield branch.

Key responsibilities and qualities for the role;

• Self motivated and driven
• Ability to produce a high quality of work
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Safety minded at all times
• Servicing, minor and major repairs to John Deere and other industry related products
• Desire to continually learn and develop your skills via on the job and formal factory training

Ideally you will have agricultural machinery and or turf experience, however people from other relevant fields with a positive attitude, an ability and desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

The position will be workshop based initially to ensure your knowledge of our products and procedures before potentially advancing to a field service roll.
